Every rating on FreeSweepsClub starts with the operator's own published pages — terms of service, help center articles, sweepstakes rules — not marketing copy or what other review sites say about it. We don't accept payment to influence a score; the six criteria below are what we actually check, and where an operator hasn't published something, the review says so instead of filling in a number.
We use six key criteria, each scored on a 0–5 scale. Here's how we define each one:
We read the welcome offer as the operator itself states it — the headline figure, the terms attached to it, and whether it's actually published consistently across the operator's own pages (it often isn't). A higher score reflects a generous offer with playthrough terms that are easy to find and easy to understand.
Redemption speed matters more to most players than almost anything else, so we look at exactly what the operator publishes about it — processing windows, per-method timing, any VIP fast-track. A higher score means clear, specific redemption terms exist; a lower one often means we couldn't find a redemption minimum or timeline anywhere on the operator's own site.
We check whether a native iOS or Android app actually exists — confirmed on the App Store or Google Play, not just claimed on the homepage — versus a browser-only experience. A higher score reflects a confirmed native app. We don't rate app quality or load times we haven't personally used, so a lower score here means less confirmed mobile infrastructure, not a bad experience we had.
We look for a named legal operator — a real company name, ideally with a registration number — stated on the operator's own terms page, and whether its own pages are internally consistent (some contradict each other, which counts against them). We don't independently audit licensing, data security, or fair-gaming certification; a published terms page can't verify those, so we don't claim to.
We check which support channels the operator actually publishes — live chat, phone, email, a help center — and how thorough that documentation is. We haven't contacted every support line ourselves, so this measures published availability, not our personal experience with an agent.
We look at what the operator states about its library — a game count, if one is published, and any named third-party studios. A named, verifiable provider list is a stronger signal than an unsourced number; several operators we've reviewed publish conflicting game counts on their own pages. We don't have RTP data for these platforms, so we don't rate or reference RTP anywhere on this site.
The overall score is a weighted average across the six criteria above. A strong score (4.0+) means an operator publishes clear, consistent, generous terms across most of those categories — not that we've personally confirmed a fast payout or a smooth mobile session. We're scoring what's published and verifiable, not our own gameplay.
